UAB Softball Adds Two Games To 2009 Schedule

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB softball team has added two more games to its 2009 schedule.
The Blazers will take on the Samford Bulldogs on Thursday, April 23 at 6 p.m. CT and on Saturday, May 1 at 1 p.m. CT. Both games will be held at Samford's Bulldog Field.
UAB and Samford were schedule to face off earlier in the season during the 2009 Magic City Classic on February 28. Inclement weather forced a revision of the tournament's schedule and the two teams did not play each other.
Next up for UAB will be a non-conference doubleheader against the Kennesaw State Owls on Wednesday. First pitch is schedule for 3 p.m. CT in Kennesaw, Ga.
