Men's Soccer Closes Exhibition Season Against Georgia State

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB men's soccer team will open its 2008 home slate with the final exhibition game this Saturday against Georgia State. The Blazers and Panthers will kick off at 7 p.m. CT at West Campus Field.
The Blazers are currently 1-0 on the exhibition season following an impressive 3-0 victory at ACC power Clemson last Sunday. UAB had three different goal scorers en route to the win.
"This is going to be a good test for us," UAB head coach Mike Getman said. "This is the first home game of the season and we are hoping for a great turnout."
Admission will be $5 for adults and $3 for youth. Children six and under are free. Students and season ticket holders are encouraged to come to the pre-game tailgate beginning at 5:30 p.m.
