Tennis Teams' Matches With Alabama A&M Postponed

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- The UAB men's and women's home tennis matches, originally scheduled for Wednesday and both against Alabama A&M have been postponed.
The matches with the Bulldogs were to have been the season openers for both the UAB men's and women's teams. Both Blazer men's coach Derek Tarr and women's coach Mert Ertunga are hopeful that a makeup date for the matches can be arranged between the schools.
Both UAB teams return the majority of their rosters from last season when the Blazer men finished with a dual match record of 15-6 and the women's squad turned in a mark of 14-7.
