BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- The UAB women's basketball team will travel to Tampa, Fla., to take on USF for the second time in less than a week, as the Blazers and Bulls take the court on Saturday at 2 p.m. (CT). UAB fell to USF on Sunday, 62-53, in its final home game of the season.
The Blazers hope to tally a win in order to improve their seeding in the 2005 Pepsi C-USA Women's Basketball Tournament to be held in Charlotte, N.C., on March 3-6. UAB is currently tied for 10th in the league with Cincinnati, who the Blazers beat earlier this season. The top 12 teams qualify for the tournament.
