BIRMINGHAM – UAB women's basketball hosts South Alabama inside Bartow Arena on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. CT.
Saturday is the 46th time that the Blazers and the Jaguars have met. UAB leads the series 31-14 and are 17-4 in Bartow. The Green and Gold earned a 77-61 win on Nov. 8, 2019.
Three players scored in double figures for UAB against West Alabama on Monday. Eleecia Carter, Molly Moffitt and Cali Smallwood recorded 12 points each. Moffitt added nine rebounds to the stat sheet.
The Blazers were perfect from the free throw line, making all 19 attempts. Against the Tigers, the game was tied two times, but UAB held the lead for the entire game until West Alabama made a three with 1.3 seconds remaining to go up 62-59. The Blazers last-second attempt was no good at the buzzer.
South Alabama earned an 87-63 win over Akron on Monday with three players scoring in double digits. The Jaguars return seven players from last season roster and brought in eight new players.
Fans will be able to enter to win a women's basketball jersey.

2025-26 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL SEASON TICKETS
Season tickets for the 2025-26 UAB women's basketball season are available for $50 for general admission tickets. Reserved courtside seating is also available for $115. For more information about women's basketball ticket packages, call the UAB Athletics Ticket Office at (205) 975-UAB1.
GROUP RATES AND FAN EXPERIENCE PACKAGES NOW AVAILABLE
Individual and corporate groups can plan a memorable experience during any of UAB's home events at Bartow Arena this season by filling out the UAB Group Ticket Request Form. Fan experience packages and discounted group tickets are available for a minimum purchase of 15 tickets, and fan experiences at Bartow Arena are available at any home basketball game on a first come, first served basis throughout the season.
Discounted group rates are available for both men's and women's basketball games and pricing is based on the size of the pre-purchased group. This season, UAB Athletics will offer unique fan experiences for groups including a spirit tunnel, sideline warm-up watch, group photo at center court, post-game free throws, and videoboard recognition, among others.
