UAB Women's Basketball To Face TCU on Sunday

FORT WORTH, Texas --- The UAB women's basketball team continues its weekend in Texas, as the Blazers take on TCU here on Sunday at 2 p.m.
UAB is coming off a 77-59 defeat at Houston on Friday night. The Blazers had 27 turnovers which led to 29 points for the Cougars. UAB's Crystal McFadden led all scorers with 17 points for the Blazers. Carmen Guzman tallied 16 points and six rebounds, while Domaneice Moore added 10 points and nine boards.
TCU improved to 12-5 overall and 3-0 in Conference USA with a 67-55 win over USF on Friday, its fifth-straight victory. Sandora Irvin led all scorers with 20 points on 7-of-15 shooting and she nailed 6-of-7 at the line. The Lady Frogs had four others with 10 points each.
The Blazers are looking for their first win against TCU, as UAB has fallen to the Horned Frogs three times. Last season, TCU defeated the Blazers, 96-66, in Birmingham.
