Softball To Face Louisville

Birmingham, Ala. - UAB (30-15, C-USA 10-5) will host the Louisville Cardinals (20-23, C-USA 6-7) in Conference USA action this weekend at George Ward Park Field #6. UAB will begin the doubleheader at 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon. The final game of the series between the Blazers and the Cardinals will be Sunday at 1 p.m. Admission is free to all UAB softball home games.

The Blazers are on a three game winning streak after taking the series from South Florida this past weekend in Tampa, Fl. UAB is currently ranked third in the C-USA standings.

Junior outfielder Cliffanie Engram (Pelham, Ala.) received Conference USA Co-Hitter of the Week for the week ending April 14. Engram posted a .455 batting average, five RBIs and three runs against the Bulls this past weekend.
