CLEARWATER, Fla. - Outfielder Cliffanie Engram hit a pair of two-run homers and Kerri Foster struck out five batters to earn her second win of the day as UAB defeated Fordham 10-2 Thursday afternoon at the USF Clearwater Parks Tournament.
Foster (6-6) started and worked four innings vs. Fordham, after pitching two and two-thirds innings in relief earlier in the day in the Blazers' 3-2 win over Northern Illinois.
UAB (14-14) will face Colgate Friday at noon EST and will take on 19th-ranked Texas A&M at 2:00 pm EST.
