The UAB women's golf team posted a final round score of 315 Wednesday to finish 13th in the Rainbow Wahine Fall Classic which was played in Oahu, Hi.
The Blazers, which shot a late Tuesday round of 325, ended the 54-hole event with a 953 total. UCLA collected the team title with an overall score of 899.
The Bruins were five strokes better than New Mexico (904), followed by San Francisco (919), Washington (922), Texas A&M (924), Oregon (928), San Jose State (931), Tulane (941), Mississippi (944), Long Beach State (949), Idaho (951), Northern Arizona (951), UAB (953), San Diego State (954) and host Hawai'i (987).
UAB freshman Karen Quinn fired final-round scores of 79 and 82 to place 36th with four other players at 236. Quinn was followed by freshman Emily Hendricks, who tallied an 81 and 78 through the final two rounds for a 237 total and a 42nd place tie.
Junior Heather Lourie finished tied for the 45th spot after shooting an 82 and 77 in her final two circuits to end the tournament with a 238 score and sophomore Christina Gushanas posted final rounds of 83 and 78 for a 242 total and a 55th place tie.
Sophomore Jenni Elmore completed UAB's individual scores with a 77th place with rounds of 89 and 87 to complete her tourney with a 271 total.
Elisha Au of Washington shot a five-over 221 to capture the individual title.
