Originally from Manhattan Beach Calif., Morgan Vetter earned her B.S. in Kinesiology from Auburn University in 2015. While completing her undergraduate degree, she was as an intern at UCLA, working with the Bruins' Athletic Performance Staff for Olympic Sports. After graduating Auburn, Morgan went on to intern with University of South Carolina and Wingate University.
Morgan became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Association of Strength and Conditioning in 2015. In 2016, she went on to work at USC Upstate as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. At Upstate, Morgan was a contributor to revitalizing the Strength and Conditioning Department, including advocating for the in-weight room Fueling Station. At USC Upstate she was responsible for all aspects of Strength and Conditioning for Softball, Volleyball, Men's Soccer, Men's & Women's Tennis, as well as Men's and Women's Golf. In December 2017, Morgan earned her Master's Degree in Exercise Science from California University of Pennsylvania.
In July 2019, Morgan came to UAB as an Assistant Athletic Performance Coach where she works with the women's soccer, softball, and rifle teams. Outside of her teams, she is responsible for the Bell Olympic Weight Room Facility and the Athletic Performance Department’s social media accounts.
Morgan lives in Birmingham and when she is not in the weight room, she enjoys being outdoors, on the water, hiking, exploring Birmingham, and hanging out with her dog Barkley.
