Jen Wallace joined the UAB Athletic Department in 2009. Wallace is charged with the sports medicine efforts for the UAB Softball team, while also serving as the Department's Insurance Coordinator and coordinating hiring of the intern athletic trainers for Olympic Sports. She also serves on the Department's Mental Health Committee and is an adjunct instructor in the School of Education.
Previously, Wallace served as the athletic trainer for both the Volleyball and Softball, before relinquishing her daily duties with Volleyball in 2010. Wallace came to UAB from the University of Kentucky where she was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for Women's Softball from 2007-2009. Wallace began her career as an undergraduate athletic training student at The University of Alabama working with the Crimson Tide's athletic programs.
A native of Muscle Shoals, AL, Wallace received her Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from The University of Alabama in 2007 and her Master's degree in Athletic Training from the University of Kentucky in 2009.
