BIRMINGHAM – UAB women's basketball hosts Florida Atlantic on Saturday, Jan. 10 at 2 p.m. CT.
Its Daddy-Daughter Date Day at Bartow Arena on Saturday. Daddy-Daughter duos will be able to get a caricature drawing, participate in a photo op and the first 50 fans receive free popcorn.

GROUP RATES AND FAN EXPERIENCE PACKAGES NOW AVAILABLE
Individual and corporate groups can plan a memorable experience during any of UAB's home events at Bartow Arena this season by filling out the UAB Group Ticket Request Form. Fan experience packages and discounted group tickets are available for a minimum purchase of 15 tickets, and fan experiences at Bartow Arena are available at any home basketball game on a first come, first served basis throughout the season. - The Blazers fell 70-65 on Tuesday to South Florida at Bartow Arena.
- Three Blazers scored in double figures with Cali Smallwood leading UAB with 20 points. Sofia Munoz and Eleecia Carter each recorded 12 points. Monae' Duffy led the Green and Gold with 13 rebounds.
- Smallwood was 7-for-13 from the field and perfect at the line with five free throws to match her career-best.
- Smallwood matched her season-best eight rebounds and two steals.
- Smallwood tallied double digit points for the 12th time this year.
- Carter came away with five rebounds on the night and were all defensive.
- Duffy registered double digit rebounds for the fifth time this season.
- Duffy recorded six of her 13 rebounds in the first quarter.
- UAB outscored USF in the first quarter (19-15) and the fourth quarter (24-19) and each team equaled points in the third (16-16).
- South Florida shot 41 percent from the paint, 34 percent from the three and 61 percent at the free throw line.
- The Blazers shot 39 percent from the field and 79 percent from the line.
- UAB scored 34 points in the paint and 17 points off turnovers.
- Florida Atlantic is 6-9 on the season and 0-3 in conference play.
- The Owls fell at Memphis 74-66 on Wednesday.
- Vivian Onugha leads FAU with 9.2 points per game, while Destyne Jackson is following behind by averaging 8.6 points and Jess Moors with 7.3. Haley Walker leads Florida Atlantic with 6.9 rebounds per game.
- The Blazers face Florida Atlantic for the 20th time in program history.
- UAB leads the series 15-4 and are 8-1 when playing at home.
- The last matchup took place on Jan. 11, 2025, where the Blazers earned a 73-61 win.
