The Blazers Drop to South Florida, 70-65

BIRMINGHAM – UAB women's basketball (7-8, 0-3 American) battled against South Florida (9-7, 2-1 American) on Tuesday night at Bartow Arena but fell short, 70-65.
Three Blazers scored in double figures with Cali Smallwood leading UAB with 20 points. Sofia Munoz and Eleecia Carter each recorded 12 points. Monae' Duffy led the Green and Gold with 13 rebounds.
The Bulls were led by Katie Davidson with 20 points, while Edyn Battle registered 18 points. L'or Mputu led South Florida with 14 rebounds.
