GROUP RATES AND FAN EXPERIENCE PACKAGES NOW AVAILABLE
Individual and corporate groups can plan a memorable experience during any of UAB's home events at Bartow Arena this season by filling out the UAB Group Ticket Request Form. Fan experience packages and discounted group tickets are available for a minimum purchase of 15 tickets, and fan experiences at Bartow Arena are available at any home basketball game on a first come, first served basis throughout the season. - The Blazers fell 87-61 last Saturday against East Carolina at Bartow Arena.
- Sofia Munoz led the Blazers with 19 points while Cali Smallwood registered 13 points. Monae' Duffy came away with 12 points and 12 rebounds for a double-double.
- Munoz came away with 19 points on top of 7-of-12 field goals.
- Duffy earned her fourth double-double of the season and led UAB with 12 rebounds.
- Journey Armstead led the Blazers with five assists.
- UAB pulled down 33 rebounds, including key offensive rebounds that led to second chance looks.
- The Green and Gold scored 26 points in the paint, 21 bench points and 13 points off turnovers.
- UAB shot 39 percent from the field, 27 percent from the perimeter and 68 percent from the free throw line.
- East Carolina shot 50 percent from the paint, 56 percent from the three and 60 percent at the line.
- Wichita State is 5-16 on the season and 2-6 in conference play.
- The Shockers earned a 63-54 win at East Carolina on Tuesday.
- Abby Carter leads WSU with 11.8 points per game, while Jaila Harding is following behind by averaging 11.6. Jaida McDonald leads Wichita State with 5.1 rebounds per game.
- The Blazers face the Shockers for the sixth time in program history.
- Wichita State leads the series 3-2 and the Blazers are 2-0 when playing at Wichita State.
- The last matchup took place on Jan. 25, 2025, where UAB earned an 76-73 overtime win.
