The Blazers fell 72-59 on Tuesday against North Texas at Bartow Arena.
Cali Smallwood led the Blazers with 21 points and Sofia Munoz registered 10 points.
Smallwood was 8-for-13 from the field and 5-for-9 from the perimeter and has scored 20-plus points three times this season.
Freshman Ashlyn Howard had a season-high eight points, four field goals, four rebounds and one assist.
Molly Moffitt matched her career-high three assists.
Jordan Rosier tallied four rebounds which was a season best.
Monae' Duffy and Moffitt led UAB with six rebounds each.
The Blazers shot 47 percent from the paint, 50 percent from three and 83 percent at the line.
UNT shot 38 percent from the field, 47 percent from three and 72 percent at the free throw line.
The game was tied 18-18 after the first quarter.
The game featured nine tied scores and three lead changes.

SCOUTING EAST CAROLINA

East Carolina is 14-6 on the season and 6-1 in conference play.
The Pirates earned a 65-58 win at UTSA on Tuesday.
Kennedy Fauntleroy leads ECU with 13.3 points per game, while Taylor Barner is following behind by averaging 12.2. Keanna Rembert is averaging 10.5 points per game. Anzhane' Hutton leads East Carolina with 6.3 rebounds per game.

SERIES HISTORY

The Blazers face the Pirates for the 29^th time in program history and the second time this season.
East Carolina leads the series 17-11 and the record is 6-6 when playing at Bartow.
The last matchup took place on Dec 30, 2025, where ECU earned an 88-87 overtime win.
