Women’s Basketball Drops Home Contest Against North Texas

BIRMINGHAM – UAB women's basketball (7-12, 0-7 American) fell to North Texas (11-8, 5-2 American) 72-59 on Tuesday night at Bartow Arena. Cali Smallwood led the Blazers with 21 points and Sofia Munoz registered 10 points.
The Mean Green was led by Cherie Spencer with 16 points, while Aysia Proctor totaled 13 points. Jazzy Owens-Barnett tallied 11 points and Mekhia Chase had 10.
