Individual and corporate groups can plan a memorable experience during any of UAB's home events at Bartow Arena this season by filling out the UAB Group Ticket Request Form. Fan experience packages and discounted group tickets are available for a minimum purchase of 15 tickets, and fan experiences at Bartow Arena are available at any home basketball game on a first come, first served basis throughout the season. LAST TIME OUT
- The Blazers fell 70-63 on Saturday to Florida Atlantic at Bartow Arena.
- Four players recorded double digit points against the Owls. Sofia Munoz led the Blazers with 16 points. Molly Moffitt followed behind with 15 points and nine rebounds. Eleecia Carter totaled 11 points while Cali Smallwood came away with 10 points.
- Moffitt led UAB with nine rebounds, six of which were offensive and marks a career-high for the senior.
- Moffitt's nine rebounds matched her season-high for the third time.
- Munoz added 16 points and helped spark UAB's third quarter surge to cut the deficit to five.
- The Blazers forced 21 FAU turnovers, converting several into transition scoring chances.
- The Green and Gold scored 22 points off the Owls turnovers.
- UAB battled on the glass (20 rebounds) and stayed within single digits for a majority of the second half.
- The Blazers matched FAU in points in the paint with UAB scoring 28 and FAU 34.
- FAU shot 41 percent from the paint, 33 percent from beyond the arc and 62 percent at the line.
- UAB was 40 percent in the paint and 55 percent from the free throw line.
- Rice is 13-3 on the season and 3-0 in conference play.
- The Owls defeated Charlotte 84-59 last Wednesday.
- Dominique Ennis leads Rice with 12.0 points per game, while Shelby Hayes is following behind by averaging 11.5 points and Victoria Flores with 10.7. Aniah Alexis is averaging 10.6 points per game. Hailey Adams leads the Owls with 10.9 rebounds per game.
- The Blazers face Rice for the 28th time in program history.
- The Owls lead the series 15-12 and are 7-3 when playing at home.
- The last matchup took place on March 9, 2025, where Rice earned a 76-63 win.
