Blazers Cap Strong Weekend at Birmingham Crossplex

BIRMINGHAM - UAB Track & Field capped off a strong weekend of individual performances on Saturday as the Blazers competed in the Vulcan Invite at the Birmingham Crossplex.
The day was highlighted by the Blazer Pole Vaulters. Victoria Freeland brought home the individual crown with a mark of 3.53m. Noelle Hambrick finished right behind Freeland in third with a mark of 3.38m.
Freshman Madison Cameron improved her personal best in the 60m with a time of 8.09, improving by .11 seconds from the Birmingham Indoor Icebreaker.
UAB tallied 10 personal bests across the weekend.

The Green and Gold are back in action January 16-17 at the Birmingham Crossplex as they are set to compete in the Samford Invite and the Samford Open. All meet information and schedules will be posted at a later date.
