BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB men's soccer team will host Memphis (1-4-3) on Sunday night at 7:00 p.m. at PNC Field.
Memphis is coming off a 3-0 loss at North Carolina, who UAB will play in October. Memphis won their only game on Aug. 28 against Mercer 2-0 and have drawn three games (Lipscomb, Evansville, and Jacksonville).
Last week, UAB dropped a non-conference game at Georgia State 1-0 despite 11 total shots. The Blazers only win came on Sept. 1 against USC Upstate 3-1.

Scouting the Tigers
Memphis struggled to score with five goals in eight games. The Tigers are led by Junior Saad Chaouki who has scored twice. They have allowed 30 more shots than their opponents 74-104.
Series History
Memphis leads the series 24-20-1 and have won six straight games. The last time UAB beat Memphis was in 2017. Memphis head coach Richard Mulrooney holds a 6-3-1 record against UAB in his 11 years with the Tigers.
Common Opponents
UAB and Memphis will play all seven conference opponents as well as FGCU, Jacksonville, and UNC in the non-conference. The only opponent both teams have played already is FGCU. UAB tied that game while Memphis lost 3-1.
