Haas and Stant Earn Back-to-Back CUSA Pair of the Week

BIRMINGHAM – UAB's Jasmine Haas and Olivia Stant have earned their second-consecutive CUSA Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week honors, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
UAB's Court 1 pair had a perfect 4-0 weekend at the Chanticleer Challenge in Myrtle Beach which included wins over College of Charleston, Coastal Carolina, Lynchburg and UNC Wilmington. The duo is on a six-game winning streak and has a 19-5 overall record this season.
Haas and Stant are on pace to break every single season school record this year. The two need three more wins to establish the most single season Court 1 wins and the most wins by a pair in school history. Four more wins would establish a new single season school record for most overall wins in a season.
According to collegebeachvb.com, Haas and Stant are the No. 4 ranked 1s pair in the nation and have tallied high-quality wins this season over Washington, Grand Canyon, South Carolina, Tulane and Georgia State.
Haas has a career record of 60-29 with 54 of those wins coming on Court 1, while Stant is 46-31 overall and she is one win away from moving into UAB's Top 10 for career wins.
UAB returns home this weekend for the Blazer Beach Bash on Friday and Saturday, April 11-12. The Blazers are in action at 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. each day.
