UAB to Compete in NIT

BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's basketball (22-12) was among the teams selected to participate in the 2025 National Invitation Tournament on Sunday evening. The Blazers will open the tournament on the road at Saint Joseph's (22-12) on Wednesday at 6 p.m. CT.
The Blazers will appear in the NIT for the first time since reaching the title game during the 2022-23 season and their 14th appearance in program history. UAB is 18-13 all-time in the NIT.
UAB won the only meeting against Saint Joseph's during the 1998-99 season by a score of 72-58 in Puerto Rico.
