Women’s Golf to Host Bama Beach Bash in Gulf Shores

GULF SHORES, Ala. – The UAB women's golf team is set to host the Bama Beach Bash this Sunday-Tuesday, March 16-18 at Gulf Shores Golf Course.

The Blazers welcome 10 teams to South Alabama this week as the field includes Iowa State, EKU, UNC Asheville, South Alabama, Georgia State, West Georgia, North Alabama, Albany, Southern Miss and East Texas A&M.

The three-day event is scheduled for 18 holes each day, beginning Sunday with the first round at 10:30 a.m. CT.

All nine of UAB's golfers will be in action with Lauren Gilchrist, Tais Moreno, Chloe Ruble, Brooke Wagner and Ceci Lococo counting towards the team score.
