Men's Golf Continues Spring Slate at Hal Williams Collegiate

BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's golf continues its spring slate this coming Monday and Tuesday, February 10-11, at the Hal Williams Collegiate hosted by South Alabama at Magnolia Grove in Semmes, Ala.
The Blazers opened their spring schedule with a 10th place finish last week in a loaded field at the Battle at Briar's Creek.
This week's competition includes Oral Roberts, Kent State, Southern Miss, Texas State, SMU, Kansas State, Seton Hall, Louisiana Tech, South Alabama, Memphis, Davidson and Southern Illinois.
Head Coach Charlie Hoyle will field a team that features Paul Bruce, Bernhard Koster, Morgan Slaton, Jonathan Ericsson.
Bruce and Koster led UAB last week as both tied for 23rd at Briar's Creek. Stelt also had a solid showing playing in The Stono as an individual with a top 10 finish, highlighted by shoot consecutive rounds of -2 to end the tournament.
Following this tournament, UAB is off for a month and returns to action on March 10-11 at the Palmetto Intercollegiate in Aiken, S.C.
