BIRMINGHAM – UAB Men's Tennis defeated South Alabama by a score of 4-3 on Monday afternoon in the Blazers' home opener at the Hoover Met Tennis Complex.

The Blazers were able to capture the crucial doubles point with wins on Court One and Court Three.

Noah Malige capped off his American Conference Player of the Week performance with a straight-set win on Court One to get the Blazers started. Conor Flynn then earned a win on Court Four before Juan Pablo Valdez clinched the match for the Blazers on Court Two.
