LAST TIME OUT

UAB defeated Southern Illinois 81-54 on Wednesday.
Molly Moffitt (25 points) Cali Smallwood (19 points), Sofia Munoz (14 points) and Monae' Duffy (10 points) all scored in double figures to lead the UAB offense.
The Blazers 27-point win is the largest margin of victory this season.
The Green and Gold made 15 three-pointers which is the most this season.
UAB was 52 percent from the field (30-for-57), 47 percent from three (15-for-32) and 60 percent from the free throw line (6-for-10)
The Green and Golds 53 percent from the field was the highest this season while shooting 47 percent from behind the arc was the second highest.
Moffitt recorded a career-high 25 points, nine field goals and seven 3-pointers.
Munoz tallied eight rebounds which is a season-high for the freshman.
Journey Armstead registered a season-best nine assists and matched her season-high six rebounds, while also recording eight points.
Eleecia Carter also had a season-best with six assists.

SCOUTING SOUTHERN MISS

Southern Miss is 6-3 on the season and fell 83-70 to SMU on Dec. 1.
Carly Keats leads the Golden Eagles with 13.6 points per game, while Meloney Thames is averaging 12.8 points, Sakyia White 12.1 points and Jakayla Johnson has 10.9 points.

SERIES HISTORY

The Blazers face Southern Miss for the 73^rd time in program history.
The Golden Eagles lead the series 42-30.
The last matchup took place on Nov. 27, 2025, at the Cancun Challenge this season where UAB earned a 77-72 win.
