LAST TIME OUT
- Molly Moffitt (14 points), Monae' Duffy (13 points), Sofia Munoz (13 points), Cali Smallwood (12 points) and Eleecia Carter (11 points) all scored in double figures to lead the UAB offense in the 65-49 over Samford last Monday.
- UAB hit 14-of-29 (.483) from beyond the arc, which tied for the second most threes in a game this season (Dec. 15 vs. Alcorn State).
- Samford was held to just five points in the fourth quarter.
- The Blazers finished with 19 assists on 24 made field goals.
- UAB outscored the Bulldogs 18-8 in transition.
- The Green and Gold forced 13 turnovers, converting them into 10 points.
- The Blazers held the lead for 36:57 minutes of the game.
- Moffitt totaled three assists which matched a career-high for the senior.
- Smallwood matched her season-high two assists and one block.
- Munoz registered four rebounds, four assists and two steals.
- Carter matched her career-best seven rebounds and season-best six assists.
- UAB outrebounded the Bulldogs 39-33 while shooting 41 percent from the field, 48 percent from the three and 50 percent at the free throw line.
- The Blazers held Samford to 36 percent shooting and 23 percent from the three.
- East Carolina is 8-5 on the season and defeated Campbell 81-59 last Sunday.
- Taylor Barner leads the Pirates with 14.3 points per game, while Kennedy Fauntleroy is following behind by averaging 11.8 points and Anzhane' Hutton with 10.8 points. Hutton leads ECU with 6.5 rebounds per game.
- The Blazers face East Carolina for the 28th time in program history.
- The Pirates lead the series 16-11 and are 7-5 when playing at home.
- The last matchup took place on Feb. 5, 2025, where ECU earned a 61-56 win.
