- UAB defeated Alcorn State 70-32 on Monday at Bartow Arena.
- Cali Smallwood (18 points) and Eleecia Carter (16 points) scored in double figures to lead the UAB offense.

- Mississippi Valley State is 1-9 on the season and fell 102-34 at No. 14 Ole Miss on Wednesday.
- Ariel Jefferson leads the Devilettes with 8.9 points per game, while Kylah McCullers is averaging 8.3 points.
- The Blazers face Mississippi Valley State for the 14th time in program history.
- The Green and Gold lead the series 13-0 and are 12-0 when playing at Bartow Arena.
