Women’s Basketball Rolls Past Alcorn State, 70-32

BIRMINGHAM – UAB women's basketball (5-5) pulled away early against Alcorn State (3-6) in the 70-32 win on Monday night at Bartow Arena.
Cali Smallwood led the Blazers with 18 points, while Eleecia Carter registered 16 points. Molly Moffitt and Monae' Duffy led UAB with nine rebounds each. Sofia Munoz tallied nine points, five assists and four rebounds and Journey Armstead collected seven assists and six points.
Alcorn State was led by Jayda Bowen with seven points while Arene Iyekekpolor Kiarra Henderson followed behind with six points each.
