LAST TIME OUT
- Eleecia Carter (25 points), Sofia Munoz (13 points) and Cali Smallwood (11 points) all scored in double figures to lead the UAB offense in the 79-66 win at Chattanooga.
- Monae' Duffy led the Blazers with 12 rebounds while adding nine points.
- Carter matched her career-high four three-pointers en route to her career-high 25 points.
- Carter scored her first 10 points in the first half and was 3-for-5 from the field and 3-for-4 from the 3-point range at halftime.
- The Blazers shot a season-high 75 percent (3-for-4) from deep in the second quarter.
- The Green and Gold scored 20 points off turnovers, 24 points in the paint and had a 47 bench points.
- In the fourth quarter, 18 of the Blazers 22 points came from the free throw line.
- The Blazers were 18-for-18 at the line in the fourth.
- UAB shot 45 percent from the floor (23-for-51), 42 percent from deep (8-for-19) and 89 percent from the line (25-for-28).
- In comparison, Chattanooga shot 39 percent from the field (23-for-58), 22 percent from range (4-for-18) and 66 percent from the charity stripe (16-for-24).
- The Racers fell 84-64 at Illinois on Tuesday and it was their second loss of the season.
- Three players had double-digit points in the loss. Keslyn Secrist led the team with 17 points while Halli Poock had 15 and Sharneccee Currie-Jells recorded 14.
- Murray State returns six players from last season's championship team.
- The Blazers face Murray State for the 5th time in program history.
- UAB leads the series 4-0 and are 1-0 at Murray State.
- The last matchup took place on Dec. 10, 1995, where the Blazers earned a 62-51 win.
