UAB Baseball Closes Out Eight Game Home Sleight

BIRMINGHAM - Baseball season is in full swing as the Blazers will take on Alabama A&M on Tuesday. UAB comes off of a series loss to Wichita State, which marked the first ever American Athletic Conference game for UAB.
Scouting Alabama A&M
Alabama A&M comes into Tuesday's midweek with a 3-19 record. Most recently, the Bulldogs lost two out of three games to Alabama State, making a 1-5 conference record. Elliot Jones is in his 3rd season as head coach of the Bulldogs. He currently holds a 40-108 record overall and at Alabama A&M. Tristan Curless leads the Bulldogs in batting average (.304) and RBIs (15).
Series History
UAB has dominated the series against Alabama A&M winning 18 of the 21 meetings. The last time the two teams met was in 2022, with UAB winning 12-1 in seven innings.
