UAB Softball Suffers Sweep at Florida Atlantic

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The UAB softball team suffered a series sweep at Florida Atlantic in Boca this weekend.
UAB lost 11-3 in game one, followed by an 8-3 defeat in game two. The Blazers then allowed four runs in the seventh inning as FAU walked off with a 5-4 victory in the series finale.
UAB is now 12-15 overall and 3-3 in the American. Florida Atlantic improved to 23-7 overall and 5-1 in AAC play.
The Blazers are back in action on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Tuscaloosa, followed by hosting South Florida at Mary Bowers Field next weekend.
