Men’s Tennis Travels to Face Georgia State, Hosts Chattanooga

BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's tennis hits the road on Friday to take on Georgia State at 4 p.m. CT before hosting Chattanooga on Sunday at 2 p.m. CT at the Hoover Met Tennis Complex.
Last time out, the Blazers picked up a 6-1 win over Southern Miss in Tuscaloosa. UAB won the doubles point and then five of six singles matches. Freshman Juan Pablo Valdez picked up his first collegiate singles victory in the win.
Carlos Gimenez Perez has won four-straight singles matches for the Blazers after starting the year 0-2. Gimenez finished the 2023 season with a 12-4 singles record.
