UAB Rifle Opens 2024-25 Season on Saturday at VMI

BIRMINGHAM – UAB Rifle will travel to Lexington, Virginia on Saturday to face off with VMI to get the 2024-25 season started. The match is set to begin at 7 a.m. CT.

The Blazers finished fourth in the SoCon Tournament last season and will look to build upon that result with a group of six sophomores that now have one year of experience. Highlighting the UAB roster is SoCon Freshman of the Year Christopher Comstock.

Comstock led the Blazers in aggregate scoring twice last season while posting personal bests in smallbore (579) and aggregate scoring (1164) at the NCAA Qualifier.

In addition to Comstock, also returning for their sophomore seasons are Emily Buck, Emma Bueschel, Madelyn Lee, Meghan McLaughlin and Rylie Roderick.

Last year, UAB posted a score of 4586 against the Keydets.
