UAB Rifle Scores 4541 at No. 20 VMI

LEXINGTON, Va. – UAB Rifle opened the season on Saturday at VMI, posting a 4541 in their first match of the season. Emily Buck was the Blazers' top performer, posting a 1148 aggregate score.

VMI's mixed rifle team placed first with an aggregate score of 4589 while the VMI women's team posted a 4557 to give the Keydets the top two spots in the competition.

Buck posted the Blazers' top score in smallbore with a 570, the second-highest overall score in the match. Meghan McLaughlin added a 562 for the Blazers' second highest score, ranking sixth overall in the match.

In air rifle, Buck again posted UAB's highest score with a 578, followed closely by Christopher Comstock's 577.
