Blazers Give Day Set for December 3

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB Department of Athletics is set for Blazers Give Day, an opportunity to impact the student-athlete experience through financial support, on Tuesday, December 3.
On Blazers Give Day, which is also Giving Tuesday, all UAB alumni, former student-athletes, fans, faculty, staff, friends and family are encouraged to give back to the Blazer student-athletes and teams.
Providing financial support on Blazers Give Day would contribute to the advancement of the competitive landscape of UAB Athletics. As UAB progresses as a member of the American Athletic Conference, its ability to Win Championships, Graduate with Honors and Make a Difference in the Birmingham Community is rooted in the generosity of Blazer Nation.
Sports-specific generosity directly enhances the student-athlete experience in the following areas: nutrition and health performance, performance technology, recruiting, team travel and activity, sport-specific equipment upgrades and student-athlete development.
