BIRMINGHAM – The UAB women's soccer team (5-4-3, 2-2-2 AAC) drew 0-0 against Charlotte (1-7-5, 0-2-3 AAC) Thursday night.

In the 2^nd minute of the match, Jette Zimmer had a chance to net the ball in the bottom left but was saved by the 49ers keeper Emma Wakeman. Zimmer had another chance in the 13^th minute but was once again saved. In the 24^th minute, Zimmer had a third chance, but Wakeman made another save.

In the second half, Lauren Lucero had a chance in the 64^th minute with a shot in the bottom center but was saved.

UAB had four shots on goal while the Blazers defense held Charlotte to one.

Up next, UAB heads to Greenville, N.C. to face East Carolina. Kickoff is set for noon CT and will air live on ESPN+.
