Track & Field to Participate in the Bob Pollock Invitational

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB Track & Field team returns to action this weekend at the Bob Pollock Invitational at the Clemson University Indoor Complex.
This is UAB's third meet in 2024 and its first away from home after competing at the Birmingham Crossplex for its first two competitions.
The meet is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Jan. 26-27, beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. on Saturday.
UAB is coming off the Samford Multi Invite in which they had numerous top five finishes, highlighted by Birthe Franck-Peterson winning the shot put at 13.19m.
Coming off a school record in the 300m two weeks ago, freshman Gabby Washington finished fifth in the 200m last week and looks to keep her tremendous rookie season going this weekend at Clemson.
Following action at Clemson, the Blazers head to Vanderbilt for the Music City Challenge (Feb. 9-10) then will host the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championship at the Crossplex (Feb. 23-24).
