Jemison, Walker Sign NBA Deals

BIRMINGHAM – Trey Jemison and Jordan Walker each agreed to free agent deals with NBA organizations following Thursday night's NBA Draft. Jemison has agreed to a Summer League deal with the Phoenix Suns while Walker signed a one-year contract with the Dallas Mavericks.
Jemison and Walker led the Blazers to a 2022 C-USA Tournament title and the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2015. The duo led UAB to a program-record 29 wins during the 2022-23 season, surpassing the previous record that was set during the season prior.
Birmingham native Trey Jemison earned Third Team All-Conference USA honors after averaging 9.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game during the 2022-23 season. He set a UAB single-season rebounding record with 329 boards.
Jordan Walker earned 2022 Conference USA Player of the Year honors and followed that up with another stellar season in 2022-23 where he earned First Team All-Conference recognition. Walker averaged 21.3 points and 4.6 assists per game during his two seasons as a Blazer. He became the fastest player in program history to reach 1,000 points, doing so in only 47 games. He also set the program record for most 30+ point games with 10 during his two-year UAB career.
The NBA Summer League begins on July 3 and runs through July 9. Games will be streamed on ESPN Networks and NBA TV.
