Men’s Tennis Sweeps Alabama A&M

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – UAB men's tennis (15-5) picked up its third-straight win on Friday night at Alabama A&M with a 7-0 sweep. The Blazers dropped only two sets on the night.
DOUBLES
Thanos Spyropoulos and Nikola Puric took a 6-1 win on Court Two before Michal Lusovsky and Noah Malige took Court One, 6-3. The Blazers have secured the double point in 16 of 20 matches this season.
SINGLES
Parker Bradbary made it 2-0 for the Blazers with a quick win on Court Six (6-1, 6-0). The Blazers clinched the match shortly thereafter with wins from Michal Lusovsky (6-4, 6-1) and Noah Malige (6-2, 6-4).
Nikola Puric was able to record his fourth singles win of the season on Court Five (6-4, 6-1) to give UAB a 5-0 lead in the contest. The final two matches ended with tiebreakers, but the Blazers were able to capture each point to conclude the sweep. Vojtech Podzemny won on Court Two and Georgios Nouchakis took Court Three to close it out.

UAB will travel to Chattanooga on Monday, April 10 to face the Mocs at 2 p.m. CT.
