UAB Men’s Tennis Takes Down Chattanooga on the Road

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – UAB Men's Tennis (16-5) picked up a big road win at Chattanooga (15-6) on Monday afternoon. Despite losing the doubles point and falling behind 2-0, the Blazers won four of six singles matches to secure the win.

DOUBLES
The Mocs were able to secure the doubles point with wins on Court One and Court Two in doubles play. UAB had won the doubles point in 16 of 20 matches entering the contest.

SINGLES
The Blazers fell behind 2-0 after Chattanooga took Court Six, however that would not last long. Carlos Gimenez Perez took Court Five in straight sets and Vojtech Podzemny took Court Three to quickly even the score at 2-2.

Michal Lusovsky continued his dominance on Court One with a 7-5, 6-2 win. The Blazers were able to secure the match after Roman Postolka took Court Two with a commanding 6-4, 6-3 win.
