Men’s Golf Concludes Regular Season at Mossy Oak Collegiate

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB men's golf team concludes the 2022-23 regular season this Monday and Tuesday, April 3-4, at the Mossy Oak Collegiate Championship hosted by Mississippi State at Mossy Oak Golf Club.
The tournament is set for 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. Along with UAB, the field consists of Abilene Christian, Alabama, Auburn, Cincinnati, Kansas State, Lamar, Liberty, LSU, Louisiana, Louisiana Tech, Memphis, Middle Tennessee, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Tennessee and Troy.
The Blazers will field a team of Khavish Varadan, Ethan Hagood, Alfie Fox, Paul Bruce and Cole Imig. For Varadan, this is his first tournament since withdrawing from the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate due to injury in late February.
The Mossy Oak Collegiate is UAB's final tune-up before the Conference USA Championship in Texarkana, Ark., which will be played April 24-27. The Blazers look to win the C-USA title in hopes of making it to a third straight NCAA Tournament.
