Men's Tennis Faces No. 64 South Florida

TAMPA – UAB men's tennis (12-4) will look to continue its impressive start to the 2023 season on Sunday at No. 64 South Florida (8-9) on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. CT. The Blazers have won 12 of their last 14 matches.
Last time out, UAB took down No. 71 North Florida, 4-0, in dominant fashion. Michal Lusovsky improved his singles record to 12-1 on the year with a 6-1, 6-3 win on Court One. Noah Malige also improved his singles record to 12-1 on the year with a win on Court Five (6-2, 6-2). Freshman Carlos Gimenez Perez has won four straight singles matches.
UAB's doubles teams hold a 29-10 record this season. The Blazers have captured the doubles point in 13 of 16 matches this season.
The Blazers are looking to reach 13 wins for the first time since the 2016 season, when UAB went 16-9.
