UAB Women’s Soccer Hosts Temple in Regular Season Finale

BIRMINGHAM – Facing a must win situation, the UAB women's soccer team hosts Temple this Thursday, Oct. 26, an PNC Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The Blazers (5-6-5, 1-3-4 AAC) square off with the Owls (2-12-3, 0-8-0 AAC) needing a win and a North Texas loss against SMU to make the AAC Tournament. UAB is 3-3-2 at PNC Field this season.
UAB is coming off a 4-2 loss at Tulsa and scored two first half goals before allowing Tulsa to net four in the second half. Freshman Lauren Lucero scored her first career goal for the Blazers while Jolie St Louis had the other.
Thursday marks the first-ever match between UAB and Temple. The two teams will continue to meet in the future as members of the American Athletic Conference.
