Sierra Frazier Named 1st Team All-Mideast Region

BIRMINGHAM- Sierra Frazier has added to her long list of career accolades today, being named as a First Team All-Mideast Region selection by the NFCA. Frazier led the team with a .415 on-base percentage, had 48 RBIs, seven home runs, three triples, and collected 210 putouts in 2022. "We are very proud of Sierra," said head coach Joe Guthrie. "Quite deserving. 48 RBIs in 49 games played…especially when you catch every game is an unbelievable accomplishment."

Frazier was honored earlier this month as a First Team All-CUSA selection. She is currently tied for 4th all time in UAB history for career home runs (26). Frazier was named as a Second Team All-Mideast Region choice in 2021.
