UAB Bowling Opens the 2022-23 Season at Colonial Lanes Classic

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB Bowling team hits the lanes for the first time this season at the Colonial Lanes Classic in Harahan, La. The three-day tournament runs from Oct. 14-16 and is hosted by Tulane.
The tournament begins on Friday with 5x5 baker game matches starting at 9:45 A.M. then continues on Saturday with five team games starting at 8:55 A.M. On Sunday, three best 4-out-of-7 baker matches will be played starting at 8:30 A.M. with awards to follow.
UAB is one of the 15 teams competing in the tournament this weekend including two MEAC Conference teams – North Carolina A&T (#7) and Maryland Eastern Shore (#14). Three top-10 teams are also competing – Stephen F. Austin (#4), North Carolina A&T (#7) and Louisiana Tech (#8).
The Blazers who will take the lanes this weekend are Jillian Hulsey, Jamie Krasnigor, Emma Bakle, Kacey Marshal, Madelynn Oliva, Keagan Trexler and Savannah Schneider.
