UAB was originally scheduled to play matches against Tennessee Tech in Homewood, Alabama, and Jacksonville State in Jacksonville, Alabama, before schedule changes were announced on Thursday morning. Both matches have been rescheduled to April.
UAB LATELY
The Blazers opened their 2021-22 season at No. 21 Mississippi State, falling 6-1 on Sunday at the Rula Tennis Pavilion in Starkville, Mississippi.
Vojtech Podzemny, a sophomore from Opava, Czech Republic, battled back from an opening set loss to defeat Mississippi State's Bautista Vilivich 4-6, 7-6 (10-8), 1-0 (11-9).
