Women's Golf Places 13th at Brickyard Classic in Macon

BIRMINGHAM - The UAB women's golf team placed 13th at the Brickyard Classic hosted by Mercer University in Macon, Ga.
Freshman Emilia Smith was UAB's top finisher as she tied for 41st at +20. UAB's top golfer Tia Teiniketo was unable to finish the tournament after shooting a 75 in the opening round.
The Blazers now turn their attention to the Conference USA Championship which is scheduled for April 19-21 in Fort Myers, Fla.
