UAB Women’s Soccer Visits North Texas on Friday

BIRMINGHAM – In a matchup of a pair of teams tied for second place in Conference USA's West Division, UAB (7-3-1, 2-1-0 C-USA) visits North Texas (5-2-0, 2-1-0 C-USA) on Friday evening. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
UAB LATELY
The Blazers are coming off a 2-1 victory over UTSA on Sunday. Kamilah Mustafa netted the game-winner on a penalty kick in the 66th minute.
UAB is ninth in the NCAA and first in Conference USA with 29 goals scored. They are 15th in the nation and first in Conference USA in points per game with 7.2. The Blazers' 21 assists are 17th in the NCAA and first in the league.
UAB is 2-3-1 on the road this season.

The Mean Green are coming off a 2-1 loss at Southern Miss on March 21. North Texas is 2-1-0 at UNT Soccer and Track & Field Stadium this season, defeating Oklahoma and Louisiana Tech earlier this month before falling to No. 15 Oklahoma State on March 14.
Keeper Kelsey Brann is third in C-USA with a goals against average of 0.82. Only the Mean Green have more goals than the Blazers in C-USA with 29, which is ninth in the country.
