Blazers Fall to No. 20 Mississippi State, 7-0

STARKVILLE, Miss. - The UAB men's tennis team dropped a match at No. 20 Mississippi State on Saturday morning.
UAB (4-7, 0-2 C-USA) fell in doubles on courts one and three as Florian Broska/Gregor Ramskogler defeated Michal Lusovsky/Roman Postolka, 6-1 and Giovanni Oradini/Stedman Strickland blanked Parker Bradbary/Giovani Pasini, 6-0, respectively.
The Bulldogs (12-5, 2-4 SEC) won on all singles courts. On court one, No. 36 Oradini topped Roman Postolka, 6-3, 6-0, while court two saw Nemanja Malesevic beat Nikola Puric, 6-0, 6-1.
On court three, Alberto Colas overcame Lusovsky, 6-4, 7-6 (8-6). Thanos Spyropolous fell to Carles Hernandez, 6-2, 6-4, while Ramskogler bested Vojtech Podzemny, 6-2, 6-1. Mississippi State won the final match of the day on court six, with Daniel Janko falling to Davide Tortora, 6-4, 6-1.
UAB returns to the courts on Sunday as the Green and Gold plays host to Jacksonville State (7-3, 1-0 OVC) at the UAB Campus Courts. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
