The Blazers (8-12, 3-11 C-USA) went into the half down 35-28 to the Monarchs (7-9, 4-8 C-USA), but the offense stalled in the second half.

In the game, ODU was able to capitalize on mistakes by the Blazers, scoring 21 off UAB turnovers.
"I thought our team battled today, but offensively we didn't make baskets and had too many turnovers," coach Randy Norton said. "Defensively we didn't keep them off the glass. We will keep teaching, working hard and look to finish the season strong."
Up next, the Blazers will return home to host UTSA on Feb. 26-27 for the last two games of the regular season.
